An anecdote

The house in the forest

Last year, a boy called David and his black cat went on holidays to a hotel in a forest. The day they arrived was a sunny day and and there wasn’t any cloud in sky.

The owners of the hotel were a boy and a girl ,they showed him his room. The room was so big and comfortable, and there was a bed for the cat, Finky.

David went down and they went out of the hotel. Then the cat went out through the window and started to follow him. They entered to a forest  that was so illuminated and lively.

Inside the forest there was a little house made of wood, and outside there was a man that walked to David and said:

-Hello

-What are you doing here? He asked.

-I am walking in the forest. He answered.

And they started to speak. Some time later David went to the hotel and he told to the owners of the hotel that the man of the house was so good, but they looked each other and told David that the man of the house was dead, but nobody knew how. David was so surprised, and he went to sleep. David dreamed that the man took Finky to the forest, when he woke up. But he saw that Finky wasn't in the bed. David thought that he went out to take some air, so he went to sleep.

The next day David couldn't find Finky so he felt gloomy. Then David thanked to the owners for all and he called a taxi and he left. On the road he passed near the little house but it was broken and a man was outside with a black cat, it was Finky with red eyes. David never touched a car again.
